Was very sorry to hear of Dr. Chaconas' passing. He was a wonderful man and the Chaconas family is a big part of my childhood memories. His parents and my grandparents were best friends!! My prayers are with you all.

Uncle Connie was a great man, and I am privileged to have had him be such a big influence in my life. He introduced me to flying, and encouraged me to study hard and pursue the dream of aviation. Little did I know that it would become my career! He also shared with me his whiskey sour recipe, which I still enjoy during the holidays, and always think of him when I do. We are so sorry for your loss, and our prayers are with you all in this difficult time. Love, Ann & Lou Chaconas

Many years ago a group of dentists who had training in treating retarded children under general anesthesia in a hospital environment got together to offer volunteer service at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, I was the director of that program and Chick was our guide in operating room protocol at the hospital. What a dear friend he came to be, and I have always thought fondly of him.

So sorry to hear of Chic's passing. He was a long-time friend of my husband Izzy and me. I last saw Chick at Izzy's funeral 10 years ago. He was such a good person and it was pleasure to have known him. RIP
