My most since condolences to the family, I just learned of your Mothers passing this morning.
Mrs. Herchenroeder raised many fine and successful children and clearly had the patience of Jobe.

"Mrs. Herchenroeder", as she was always known to me, was like a second mother to me, having spent considerable time at the Herk house in Takoma Park and, even better, at the beach. She reminded me very much of my own mother and came close to treating me like her own son (with both compliments and scoldings). Thanks, Mrs. Herchenroeder, for both. You will be missed by so many.
