Catherine Pagonis on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John Pagonis; mother of Anthony Pagonis and his wife Cindy Pagonis; grandmother of Jonathan, Brian and Christopher Pagonis; Great grandmother of Anthony Pagonis; sister of John Lambriodes. Also survived by a host of loving family and friends. 

Catherine enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and putting together puzzles.  But what she enjoyed most was being around people and making them smile.   She always cherished her visits with family, and loved spending time with her grandchildren, Jon, Brian and Chris, who called her Yia Yia.  She also loved watching her “soap opera” with her daughter-in-law Cindy.    Her baklava and New Year’s breads will always be remembered.

Visitation will be at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at their temporary location, 15100 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20905 on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10:00 am where funeral serivces will be at 11:00 am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's name to the Hospice of Frederick Maryland, Sts. Constantine and Helen Church or to SEEC.

Kindly observe that flowers may not be delivered to the church.
