Susan Marie Costantino

Susan Marie Costantino, Susie as she is known to family and friends, left this journey on September 9th, 2021 with her husband at her side. 

Susie was born August 25th, 1966 in Wheaton, MD where she attended elementary, junior high and then graduated from Wheaton High School in 1984. Susie immediately entered the work force after graduating, working as a word processor and executive assistant. She excelled as an executive assistant being hired by several C.E.O.'s of large corporations. Several year ago, Susie was offered a position at the Frederick County Humane Society where she was hired as a coordinator and assistant director. The plan was for her to take over the directors position in the future and her excitement to take that position was noticeable. She volunteered many years at the FCHS and served on the board for a few of those. Susie has always loved all types of animals and that love is what pushed her to volunteer to help animals in need somehow, someway. She often said it was her dream job, and it was! Susie was also passionate about photography and loved to take trips and photograph all types of nature and architecture.   

Susie is survived by the love of her life and husband of 21 years, Brian Costantino, her mother Mary Sheridan, sister Terrie Tinney, sister Aileen Sheridan, Aunt Amy and Uncle John Bowman, cousins Janet and Brian Bailey, many wonderful nieces and nephews and her adoring pets, Athena, Oren, Osa, Miracle and Mia.

She is proceeded in death by her father Richard Sheridan, grandmother Ava Ruth Baskette, Uncle Charles and Aunt Jennie Johnson, and loving pets Dottie, Max, Missy and Sweetums.

The funeral service will be held on Monday September 20th, 2021 at St Jude Catholic Church, 12701 Veirs Mill Rd. Rockville, MD 20853. There will be a 1 hr. viewing at the church from 10-11AM and then a mass from 11AM-12PM.  Then she will be taken to the Gate of Heaven cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20906. There will be a short graveside service for her beautiful soul to be blessed before she is placed in her final resting spot.
