Sophia G. Ferentinos

Sophia Ferentinos, passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord on December 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Christos Ferentinos and the adored mother of Metaxas (Mary) Ferentinos, Georgia (David Ries) Ferentinos.  Sophia was the cherished grandmother to Elizabeth (Ron) Fuchsman, Christopher Ferentinos, Zack Ferentinos and Christina Sophia Ferentinos. She was deeply loved by her family, and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 10, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00pm, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Washington, D.C., 721 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20905.  Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Sophia Ferentinos to Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (details below).
