Randolph August Linderholm

Randolph August Linderholm stepped heavenward to Eternal Life in hospital on March 23, 2022, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 22, 1939, son of Carl T. and Nan C. (Randolph) Linderholm. He was predeceased by his brother, Carl E. Linderholm (2002). Randolph August is survived by his devoted wife Anna (Mec) of 43 years, his beloved daughter Julia, and stepchildren Natalie, Danny and (Oksana), his grandchildren Ruslan and Arianna.

Randolph graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park after he served in the U.S. Navy for four years. During Randolph’s civil service career, he worked at NASA, Department of Interior, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Silver Spring, until his retirement in 1995.

Randolph’s lifelong interests included woodworking and organic gardening at Windy Pines, his country escape outside of Gettysburg.  Along with caring for his extended furry family of cats and dogs, he kept active in his later years. He loved his family and was an avid genealogist for the Randolph and Linderholm families.  He was a devout Episcopalian, was very proud of his southern heritage, and was an active member of the American Legion and SCV.

A service of remembrance will be held on March 30, 2022 at 1 pm at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD, 20906.
