Paul Edwin Robertson

Paul Edwin Robertson, of Darnestown MD, passed away on August 12, 2026. Paul was born in Johnson City, NY to James Alexander Robertson and Grace (Dixon) Robertson.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Karen E. (Rose) Robertson; his three sons, Douglas, Gregory (Jessica), and Thomas; and his three cherished grandsons, Gregory, Christopher, and Alexander.

Paul was a beloved brother of James Robertson, Mary Sasser (Reid), Susan Rubritz (Terry), Beth (Eileen), late brother Douglas (Susie), and Janice Pauline (Rob); beloved brother-in-law of Thomas Rose (JoAnn); and loved by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

While raising his three sons, Paul was committed to his faith, to loving his family deeply, and to providing for them, especially through Catholic education. He was always looking forward to the next family get-together and to sharing a good story and laugh. He was an avid fan of his alma mater, Villanova, and the Washington sports teams. Throughout his life, he was active in serving others. He will be greatly missed by the many family and friends who loved and cared for him.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 20th at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Dr, Potomac, MD 20854. Visitation from 9:30am until 10:30am; and a Mass of Christian Burial offered at 10:30am.  Private interment to follow.
