In Loving Memory of Paul O. Bond

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul O. Bond of Rockville, MD, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Paul, beloved husband of the late Joyce Bond, was a cherished father to Bethanne Bond Mayr, Kristina Bond Rivers, and Lorrie Bond Weber. He was a proud grandfather to Jacob Paul, Avery Nicole, Maxwell Philip Weber, Mackenzie Whitlock, Charlotte Joyce, Bond Bradford, Landon James Rivers, Marlee Lane and Kahler Joy Mayr. 

Paul was born and raised in Washington, DC where he attended Coolidge HS.  Paul spent many of his summers in their country home in Mt. Airy, where his parents would later call home. Paul attended the University of Miami, and the University of Maryland where he graduated with a BA in Psychology.  He served in the Air National Guard, was involved in charities that were near to his heart (DC Friends of Ireland & American Diabetes Assoc.), and enjoyed a long successful career in the printing business where he found many of his life long friends.  His love, wisdom, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation and service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Rd, Rockville, MD 20853. The visitation will take place from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a service from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We invite friends and family to come together and honor his memory.

Paul will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

May his soul rest in peace, and may we forever hold his love and the luck of the Irish in our hearts.
