Margaret Louise Cook was the loving wife of the late William G. Cook and beloved mother to her surviving sons, Lynn Cook (Margo) and Tom Cook (Cindy) as well as her two deceased sons, Jim Cook andDavid Cook (Debbie). She was grandmother to three, and had several great grandchildren.
Peggy, as she was known, was born on June 13, 1927 in Washington, DC. She and her husband married on January 20,1951 and moved to Rockville where they raised four boys. Peggy was a homemaker until the boys were grown and then became a realtor for several years. Eventually she went to work at the Food and Drug Administration in Rockville, MD from where she retired in 1988. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Jude Church regularly. She was a member of the Church Sodality and Ladies Guild where she met lifelong friends.
There will be a Visitation at 10:00am followed by a Mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15663 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, June 20, 2025.
