Louis Migliorini Jr. Obituary

Louis John Migliorini Jr., 74, passed away suddenly on April 20, 2026, and will be missed by all those lucky enough to know him.

Lou was born to Louis John Sr. and Norrine Migliorini in Alexandria, Virginia. He was a devoted son and brother, and loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lou and Norrine, and his brother Thomas.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce, his daughters Lauren (JP), Caitlin (Josh), Alicia (Cameron), and Julia (Tyler), and ten grandchildren.

Lou was a truly devoted family man and loved nothing more than spending time with Joyce, their four daughters and their 10 grandkids. He loved golf and all sports but most of all wanted to be on his boat cruising up and down the St. Martin River. A proud graduate from the University of Maryland, Lou treasured rooting on his Terps, his membership in the Terrapin Club and his long-standing brotherhood with the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He developed more fellowship and friendship at Congressional Country Club where he was a member of fine standing for decades.

Always an animal lover, Lou dabbled in importing exotic birds from Central America before developing a deep affinity for Great Danes. Dogs have been a huge part of Lou and Joyce’s life for decades. He loved the Burgundy and Gold but maybe not the new name and proudly told stories of watching Sonny Jorgensen play at D.C. Stadium, before it was renamed to RFK.

Lou exuded an aura of kindness and sincerity, and was always happy to share a laugh. Certainly taken far too soon from this earth, Lou had a deep Catholic faith and is undoubtedly sharing laughs with his parents and brother now in Heaven.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 6 - 8pm, at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Potomac, MD; where the Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11am.  A reception will immediately follow at Congressional Country Club.
