Laura Michelle Clark passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 after a prolonged battle with cancer at the age of 48. Laura was born March 6, 1971 and raised in Montpelier, Maryland. She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Susie Clark; her brother, Jim Clark (Kim); her life partner, Brian Anchor and their children, Tyler, Andrew and Morgan Anchor; her brother and sister-in-law, Mark Anchor (Leslie) and Donna Ferrari (Rob) along with (8) nieces and nephews.
Laura graduated from the University of Maryland and has worked at Fred Frederick Chrysler for over 30 years. She was a dedicated mother that treasured and embraced every moment with her children. Laura enjoyed going to Maryland Basketball and Football games, watching lacrosse and just spending time with her children. Laura was very involved with all of Morgan’s many activities with Glenelg and ASA. Laura was an avid thrift shopper and very skilled at it. Even after Laura’s diagnosis with breast cancer in 2011, she remained dedicated to work and family and was determined to fight. Laura will always be remembered for her kindness, positive attitude and selflessness.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a “Celebration of Laura’s Life” on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 1pm to 4pm at Manor Country Club, 14901 Carrolton Road, Rockville, Maryland 20853.
