Katherine “Kathy” Lennartson Myers, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 82. Born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of Roy and Ethel Lennartson.
Kathy will be remembered for her generous spirit, lively personality, and wonderful sense of humor. A spirited and creative soul, she brought beauty and imagination into the lives of those around her. She was also a strikingly beautiful woman whose warmth and presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Creativity was a defining thread throughout Kathy’s life. She worked professionally in interior design and had a natural gift for creating spaces that were both elegant and welcoming. She generously shared this talent with family and friends, always offering her keen eye for style to help make their homes more beautiful.
In addition to her work in design, Kathy was a talented artist who created many beautiful paintings over the years. Her artwork remains proudly displayed in the homes of her family, serving as a lasting reminder of her creativity and love.
Kathy is survived by her son Joseph (Pam) and their children, Avery and Cookie; and by her son Jamisen (Maureen) and their children, Tommy, Charlie, Liam, and Maggie. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother and found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. One of her most beloved traditions was “Grandma Camp,” a special time she created each year filled with fun, laughter, and lasting memories.
She also maintained many close friendships throughout her life, traveling with friends and sharing countless meaningful experiences and adventures.
Kathy’s warmth, creativity, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on March 28th at Oakdale Church, 3425 Emory Church Road, Olney, MD 20832.
Following the service, family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Silo Falls, 19501 Georgia Ave, Brookeville, MD 20833.
All who knew and loved Kathy are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating her life.
