Karen Bowen Fisher

is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Bowen Fisher on Thursday, November 28,2024 at the age of 79. Karen’s contagious smile, big heart and kindness without boundary will always be remembered. She loved getting together with her fellow teachers, friends and family. She delighted in celebrating the accomplishments of her family and large circle of friends. She worked for over 30 years as an elementary school physical education teacher.

She is survived by her beloved Husband William (Bill), her sons Bill Jr., Brian (Kara), & Michael, Grandchildren Patrick, Mary Kathryn, & Maggie, numerous Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews, a large circle of friends and neighbors

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 13, at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Road Bethesda, Md 20814, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. Private Internment on Saturday, December 14th.
