Judith Watson Shields

Judith Watson Shields, 73 of Germantown, MD passed away Saturday, April 13 2024 at the Johns Hopkins Medical Center from complications from a recent surgery.  She was born in Cumberland MD on September 16, 1950, daughter of Ruth Jane & Glenn Watson.  Judie was a 1968 graduate of Fort Hill HS in Cumberland and 1983 graduate of Frostburg State with a BA degree in Accounting.  For the past 33 years she has headed up her own CPA practice in Germantown, MD.

She is survived by her husband Tad Shields; her sons Brent, Blair, Brendan; and her brother, Bryan Watson of Charlotte, NC.  She was also the proud grandmother of 3 loving grandchildren, Mollie, Lillie and Charlie of Greenville, SC, who are the children of Brent and his wife, Jeanne.

Family and Friends are invited for a time of Visitation on Thursday, April 18 2024 from 5 - 7pm at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Silver Spring, MD; where the Memorial Mass will be celebrated the following day on Friday, April 19 2024 at 11 AM.
