Judith “Judi” Rowles, age 73, entered the gates of heaven on August 4th, 2021, after an aggressive & sudden fight against cancer.

Judith started her career at the Shrine of Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, in Rockville, working in a variety of positions, including teaching CCD classes, until 2017. Her love of books took her to get a job in 1998 at the Aspen Hill Montgomery County Public Library, where she worked for twenty-three years.

Judith had a high regard for her faith, loved her family like no other, and had an admiration of all thing’s animal, especially her cats & all of her kid’s animals too. She was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children David Rowles (Laura) of Germantown, Md; Deborah Rowles (Ramel Clash) of Laurel, Md; and Daniel Rowles of Mt. Airy, Md. And her cherished grandkids, Nadia Rowles, Rianna Clash, & Lia Rowles. And of course, her favorite felines, Smokey, Tipsy, Spanky, and Lil’ Bits. She is predeceased by her father, Robert H. Doolan; and her mother, Marian Y. Doolan.
