Joseph Cornelius (Ananth), of Silver Spring, Maryland, was born into Eternal Life on August 17th, 2022.
Joseph (Ananth) was born in India to Cornelius Thamiah and Elizabeth Cornelius. He was the youngest of 6 siblings. He married Anne Samuel in 1987 and they had two children, Joel Cornelius (Sunny) and Jessica Cornelius (Twinkle).
Joseph (Ananth) founded and owned a successful electrical company in India called Ashish Materials Marketing in 1990 in the city of Bhoiguda, Secunderabad. He led the company and provided support to residential and commercial customers with transformers, panel boards, and miscellaneous electrical equipment. He provided strong leadership and was always looking to innovate and create cutting edge solutions. He prided himself on being a person with a principle of trust.
In 2003, he along with his children joined his wife in the United States for a better life for his family. They made their home in Silver Spring, Maryland, a community that he loved and adored.
He was a strong believer in Christ and was born-again. He taught and modeled to his family the importance of having a relationship with Christ. He loved his wife, children, in-laws, and granddog more than words can describe and went above and beyond to show it.
He was the Manager at DMV Select in Springfield, Virginia for 20 years; where he was extremely loved and adored by all the people that he interacted with. Outside of his work, he loved to spend time completing home projects, watching his favorite TV shows, and enjoying Indian food. His most favorite things were to spend time with his family and his granddog, Olaf Cornelius. He was a life-long learner and always wanted to better himself. He had high aspirations and always thought about new ideas to better himself, his work, and his family.
