Jo Ann Aronne

Jo Ann Aronne (nee Neagle), age 58, passed into eternal life on Saturday, October 30, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Eugene, and her four devoted children: Eronn Strickland, Mary Aronne, Theresa Aronne, and Abigail Aronne.

A native of Wheaton, Maryland, Jo was a graduate of Montgomery College with an associate degree in Dental Assisting. She worked as a dental assistant, medical office assistant, and most recently as a patient service coordinator for MedStar Montgomery Medical Group. 

She loved supporting her daughters’ school interests in music, drama, and academic competitions. She also promoted fund raising for safe after-prom activities.  After first battling breast cancer in 2009, Jo supported the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event. She also loved animals, supporting Knine Rescue of Ashton, Maryland.  She loved music, theater, baking, her puppies, and most of all her family. Jo was a fiercely devoted friend, sister, mother and wife, and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will begin at 10:30am on Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church - 4101 Norbeck Rd, Rockville, MD 20853, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30am.  Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
