Jeff Steven Jordan, 57, of Woodbine, died Monday, June 7, 2021. He was born June 10, 1963 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and was the son of Rudolf and Carolyn Jordan; and son-in-law of Nicholas and Katina Bardosa. He graduated from Nova High School, and graduated from University of Miami (FL) and Capital University Law School (OH). He was employed as Assistant General Counsel at the Federal Election Commission for over 20 years. He was a member of the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Silver Spring. He was an avid runner, enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and watching all new television shows and sports. He was most passionate about caring for his family and friends, and was always willing to help or provide advice on various topics. Jeff Jordan exemplified being a family man, and his outgoing and friendly personality always made others feel his love.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Petroula Jordan; his daughter Katerina (Nicholas); his son Jeff; sisters-in-law Demetra (Soterios) and Linda; nephews Nikephoros, Jimmy, and J.R.; nieces Vasiliki and Lori; and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in his death by his parents; brother Jim; and father-in-law.
There are no words that adequately convey the magnitude of our sorrow, gratitude, and joy for Jeff, who as a husband, father, and friend was always larger than life. He was always the life of any event laughing and bantering with all types of people. He was loved by all immensely. His accomplishments, intellect, sense of humor, and his selflessness created the wonderful parea that we were all blessed to have. The parea will never recover from his loss.
Visitation will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, June 12 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 701 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905, where the Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD. Services will be officiated by Father Michael Eaccarino.
