James Joseph Cook Obituary

On August 31, 2021, James (Jim/Jimbo) Joseph, our youngest son/brother passed away at the age of 60 after an extended period of complications from diabetes.  Jim was lovingly chosen by Mary (Maus) and Arthur Cook from St. Anne’s Infant & Nursing home.  He was preceded in death by his father in February and is survived by his mother, Mary, big sister Jane and older brother Bill.  Jim will be sadly missed by several other relatives, especially his niece, Corinne and his nephew, Charlie.  He will be remembered for his playful smile, and always kidding around.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 11:30am on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Saint Patrick’s Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853.  Friends and family can share their memories and prayers prior to the funeral at 10:30am.

Expressions of sympathy may be offered by donating to the wonderful organization that supported Jim for many years – People Encouraging People (PEP) https://www.mightycause.com/organization/People-Encouraging-People-2  or https://www.diabetes.org/
