Georgios Theodoros Sideris

Georgios "George" Theodoros Sideris fell asleep in the Lord, peacefully and surrounded by love, on October 9, 2025.

George is the beloved husband of Angeliki (Kiki) Sideris.  Loving father of Yianna (Jose) Vargas, Georgia Sideris, and Theodora Sideris.  Dearly loved father-in-law of Jose Vargas.  Adored “Pappou” of Katerina Vargas, the light of his life.

George is the devoted son of the late Theodoros Sideris and is survived by his loving mother, Angeliki Sideris. Cherished brother of Michael Sideris and Panagiotis (Irene) Sideris. 

He is the dearest son-in-law of the late Georgios Theodoros Floros and is survived by his mother-in-law Anastasia Floros and brother-in-law Theodore (Nancy Sheerin) Floros.

George chose to live his life by helping everyone. He was a man of honor and wisdom who cherished every moment with his loved ones, always reminding those around him that family is everything. He loved his family and his church with his whole heart.  George is the loving cousin and uncle to many nieces and nephews who will always remember his warmth and kindness.

Arrangements: Funeral services will be held at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Washington, D.C., 721 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20905, on Monday, October 20, 2025.  The viewing will take place at 10:00am, followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:00am.  Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Silver Spring, Maryland.
