George Ladany, Jr., fell asleep in the Lord, surrounded with love, on May 9, 2023. He is the beloved husband of Kalliopi Ladany. Loving father of Elaine (George) Romas, George (Kristen) Ladany 3rd, and Nick Ladany. Adored grandfather of Maria (Dimitris) Stamidis, Christina Romas, Alexis Romas, Matthew Ladany, Megan Ladany, Jacob Ziller, Taylor Ziller, and Michael Ziller.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Washington, D.C., 721 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, Maryland, for the funeral viewing from 10:00am to 11:00am, and the funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Glenwood Cemetery, 2219 Lincoln Road N.E., Washington, D.C.
