Frances B. Russell

Fran Russell, 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday February 11, 2023.

Fran is survived by her son John Russell, and daughters, Heidi Green, Hope Sullivan (Kevin), Anibal Martinez, Heather McHugh (Peter), Holly Upton (Ernie), and Mary Russell; by her sister Margarite Norris; and by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

Fran is preceded in death by her husband George Russell Sr., her son, George Russell Jr, her daughter, Hillary Martinez, her son in law Larry Green, her daughter in law, Margie Fox, her parents, Ollie and Mary Buhne, and her sisters Mary Davis and Dorothy Carey.

Visitation will be at 11am on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853; followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Interment private.
