Emanuela Rossi Santini

Emanuela Rossi Santini was born on September 15, 1963 in Falcon, Venezuela to Silvana Santini and Arnaldo Rossi.  She is survived by her husband, Oswaldo Lara and four children, Manuel Ruiz (Kelly Habig), Lorena Goodfellow (Parker Goodfellow), Daniel Ruiz, and Emanuela Ruiz (Jackson San Miguel Cacheiro). She spent most of her life in Venezuela and Colombia until moving to Washington, DC in 2014 to be closer to her children and grandchildren, Parker, Valentina, Isabella, and Liliana. 

Emanuela lived every moment of her life with gratitude and optimism and lived for others, particularly her children. She was an artist with a special talent in ceramics and jewelry, always bearing gifts of her jewelry to anyone she knew. She spent her life bringing joy and beauty to the world. 

Visitation is Tuesday, August 20th 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas, 2200 California St NW, Washington, DC 20008, followed by Catholic Mass at 11:00 a.m. and procession to Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation.

Emanuela Rossi Santini nació el 15 de septiembre de 1963 en Falcon, Venezuela, Hija de Silvana Santini y Arnaldo Rossi. Quedan en Vida su esposo, Oswaldo Lara, cuatro hijos, Manuel Ruiz (Kelly Habig), Lorena Goodfellow (Parker Goodfellow), Daniel Ruiz y Emanuela Ruiz (Jackson San Miguel Cacheiro). Ella pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Venezuela y Colombia, hasta que se mudó a Washington, DC en 2014 para estar más cerca de sus hijos y nietos, Parker, Valentina, Isabella y Liliana.

Emanuela vivió cada momento de su vida con gratitud y optimismo y vivió para los demás, especialmente para sus hijos. Ella era una artista con un talento especial en cerámica y joyería, siempre le regalaba detalles hechos por ella de sus joyas a cualquiera que conociera. Pasó su vida trayendo alegría y belleza al mundo. La recordaremos con mucho amor así como nos enseñó ella.
