Dimitrios Barlas

Dimitrios (Demos) Barlas peacefully fell asleep in the Lord, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.  He is the beloved husband of Anastasia Barlas.  Loving father of George Barlas and Yannis Barlas.  Adored grandfather of Dimitri and Elias.  Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews, here and in Greece.  Demos will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.  May God rest his soul and his memory be eternal! 

Arrangements: Funeral services for Dimitrios (Demos) Barlas will be held at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox of Washington, D.C., 721 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20905, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.  The viewing will take place at 9:00 a.m., immediately followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be held in Greece at a later date.
