Diane Elmore Obituary

Diane Wilcox Elmore, age 66 of Germantown, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, February 1st , 2022.

Born in Washington, DC on December 5th, 1955 to Teddy and Kathryn (Reutemann) Wilcox. Second of five children, she was raised in Rockville, Maryland. Diane graduated from The Academy of the Holy Cross in 1973. She is survived by her two daughters, Krystyn and Shannon Elmore. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Kathleen, Robert, Michael, and Matthew as well as a large and loving extended family.

Diane’s energy and positivity lit up every room she walked into. Working in a career of passion, she spent 43 years cultivating the Jazzercise fitness program in Montgomery County, Maryland. Her fitness presence in the area was one that she was incredibly proud of - the relationships she built, maintained, and loved. Nothing made her happier than making a difference in someone’s life, especially their fitness journey.

Diane had a deep love for plants and flowers. She loved to tend to her garden and watch the birds that frequented it. She also loved to travel, finding joy in dipping her toes in the ocean, picking Chesapeake Bay crabs on the riverfront, or road tripping through the mountains with her two girls.
