On October 7, 2023, Danielle Payen passed away peacefully at her Hospice in Montgomery Village, Maryland surrounded by some of her family.
Born on August 25, 1947, in Haiti, Danielle's journey brought her to the United States, a place where she found not only a career but an abundance of opportunities. Her life was a testament to the power of faith and resilience with a smile. She was a deeply religious soul who found solace and purpose in her unwavering belief and in her family. Her spirituality was a guiding light, a source of strength that she readily shared with all of us. She leaves behind six siblings and nine nieces and nephews (with their six little ones).
Visitation will begin at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 520 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20852; where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
