Christopher Lloyd Anthony Brammer

Christopher Anthony Brammer, 56 of Gaithersburg, MD, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018.  Christopher was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 19, 1961.  He migrated at age 8 to Washington, DC where he attended elementary school.  He attended Arcola Middle School and graduated from Wheaton High School in 1980.  Christopher worked at the Australian Embassy in the printing department as well as being one of the embassy’s drivers.

Christopher’s love and passion was driving dump truck transporting coal, gravel, sand and rocks.  This required him having a special commercial driver’s license.  During heavy snow falls, Christopher was out covering the roadways.  Christopher is survived by his parents: Princess and Karl Brammer; siblings:  Marc Brammer, Errol C. Dufour,  Joy Dufour;  daughter: Katelyn Mullins;  grandson: Anthony Michael Clements; nieces: Ashleigh Vanwagen, Aliyah Brammer, Andrea Robinson, Krista Dufour, Catherine Bragg; nephews: Charles H. Dufour, Errol Dufour, Daniel Bragg; Antonio Robinson; aunts: Valda Vassell-Currie, Edna Samuda; cousins: Andrea Smith, Donald Smith, Hugh Smith, Michael Samuda, Jeffery Samuda, Gregg Samuda, Charmaine Samuda; sister-in-laws: Amy Brammer and Beverly Dufour.   A thanksgiving service will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, 3820 Aspen Hill Road, Silver Spring, MD on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 am where viewing will be from 10:00am–11:00am.  The burial will be at 1:00pm at Rockville Cemetery, 1350 Baltimore Road, Rockville, MD.
