Carol Ann Berger

Carol Ann Berger, 70 of Kensington, Maryland entered into eternal rest on July 9, 2019 at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving daughters and grandchildren. She was born in Danville, Pennsylvania, December 26, 1948; daughter of the late Anthony A. and Agnes M. Bressi. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1966. She enjoyed hosting and attending family and holiday gatherings, cooking, baking, gardening, an avid reader, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite charities include St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Susan G. Komen. She began her career at NIH, then continued working with NOAA where she spent 27 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Daniele Sibert and Lisa Moshedi of Rockville, Maryland and four grandchildren, Collin, Caroline, Berkeley and Alexandra; a brother, Paul D. Bressi and his wife Patricia of California; and a sister-in-law Cynthia Bressi of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her older brother Anthony A. Bressi, Jr., and nephew Anthony A. Bressi, III.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:30 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9705 Summit Ave., Kensington, Maryland.
