On Sunday, February 25, 2024, Alfred V. Innocenti of Brookeville, MD passed away peacefully at 102 years old.
He was a WW II Veteran, served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, Retired Metropolitan Police Sergeant and Native Washingtonian. He was known as Al to some, Freddie to most, Uncle Freddie to his numerous nieces and nephews, Dad to his children and Poppie to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beloved husband (preceded by his wife, Madalyn, of 71 years) and father of Diane Hainer (Arthur), Dolores Barthalow (Michael), Robert Innocenti (Melissa), seven grandchildren, Matthew (Meghan), Gregory (Christina), Alison, Anne-Marie, Claire (John Paul), Karin, Juliana and eight great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at St. Peter’s Parish, 2900 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD 20832-1520, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00a.m. Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
