Virginia "Ginny" G. Gregorchik, of Silver Spring, MD and formerly of St. Marys, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the age of 72. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Stephanie Setlik (nee Bos) of New York.
A native of North Tonawanda, NY, Ginny was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School. On October 15, 1966, she married Thomas F. Gregorchik at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. They resided in Lake Hopatcong, NJ for 5 years before returning to North Tonawanda and finally establishing their roots in St. Marys, PA where they remained for 37 years. She was a devout member of Sacred Heart Parish and enjoyed exercising at the local Curves with her friends. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her family.
She is survived by her husband, Tom, of 51 years; four children, Karen Johannes (David) of Olney, MD, Laura Russell (Rob) of Park City, UT, Paula Natoli (Bryan) of Olney, MD and Tom Gregorchik of Arlington, VA; seven grandchildren, Rachel Johannes, Justin Johannes, Hanna Russell, Ella Russell, Kyle Natoli, Nathan Natoli and Sarah Natoli; a sister, Emily Clouse (Ron) of Johnson City, TN and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Grant, of West Palm Beach, Florida and a brother, Alexander Setlik of North Tonawanda, NY. She will be dearly missed by many.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15661 Norbeck Boulevard (Leisure World) Silver Spring, MD 20906 on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm where Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Virginia may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org) or Sacred Heart Church in St. Marys PA (www.sacredheartparish.us)
