Renee David Spasioti Saah feel asleep on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 4:20 am, after losing her fight to Devic’s Disease. Renee was born on December 5, 1940 in Ramla, Palestine to Petro and Zakia Spasioti, the youngest of seven children. She is survived by her daughter Susan Kozlov, son David Saah Jr, step-son Ralph Saah, son-in-law Igor Kozlov, grandsons Alexander Kozlov and Peter Kozlov, granddaughter Diana Kozlov, and by her brother Fikiuon and sister Estamati.
Renee was selected by King Hussein of Jordan to be a math teacher, where she taught for 10 years. Renee’s natural artistic talent lead her to receiving an art scholarship in Rome, but she had to decline it. After coming to America, Renee received her AA degree in both Art Education and Childhood Education and taught art at Montgomery College’s Continuing Education Department. Her legacy lives in a stained glass window at Unity Christ Church, making sure that the Father, Son, and the Holy Sprit were represented for all to see. Renee’s artistic ability and strength of her hands have left a legacy of artwork for all to admire, inspire and aspire to!
