Muriel Agnello of Olney, Maryland on Tuesday, December 24. 2019. Beloved wife of Fred Agnello; mother of Mike Agnello (the late Dana), Mark Agnello (Sharon) and Teresa Phillip (Raymond); grandmother of Kevin, Mikey, Natalie, Maryann, Rebecca, Julia, Sarah and Gary.
Muriel was devoted to her family, was a great cook, enjoyed shopping and traveling, especially her trips to Italy. She was generous with her time and energy.
She made the best of every situation, even in these last few weeks of her life. She made each grandchild feel loved, special, and important by being at all of their activities, sporting events, music concerts and plays, birthday parties, Sacraments, and by spending time with each one of them. She loved spending time with Emma, the family's 13 year old Labrador retriever. Muriel was easy to talk with and so caring,understanding and outgoing. She loved attending Sunday Mass, and watched Mass on TV when she was ill. She really loved everything about Christmas: giving gifts to everyone, preparing the holiday meals, baking cookies, listening to Christmas music and decorating the Christmas tree.
Visitation will be at Saint Peter's Parish, 2900 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney, Maryland 20832,on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 am until 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment private.
