Mother of Mary Miller, Thomas Aylward (Jane), Kathleen Baker, Matthew Aylward (Maureen), Peter Aylward (Natalie), Anne Marie Richards (Brook), and Wendy Aylward (Dan Witmer); Grandmother of Perry Patterson (Jennifer Minter), Mary Kathleen Aylward (Daniel Friedman), Aileen Aylward (Max Lazar), Allison Aylward (Declan Keenan), Nathaniel Baker (Julie Goolsby), Ian Baker, Bridget Aylward, Bernadette Aylward, Malcolm Richards, Caroline Aylward, Wendy-Marie Aylward, Maxwell Richards, and Nicholas Aylward; Great Grandmother of Molly Patterson, Perry “Jack” Patterson, Vivienne Patterson, Finneas Patterson, Fionnbarr Keenan, and Oscar Friedman.

Visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2900 Olney Sandy Spring Rd, Olney, MD on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and Saturday, September 23 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon with Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas J. Aylward Fund at the University of Maryland System Foundation.
