Kwok Fun “Kathy” Kidwell

Kwok Fun Kidwell, Kathy, originally from Hong Kong, China and residing in Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and close friends on Tuesday April 3, 2018.  She is survived by her beloved husband Mark, sons Christopher and Justin, and many family members here and overseas.  She worked as a Registered Nurse in numerous hospitals throughout her career, eventually retiring from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.  During her life she touched several people and will continue to do so.  She treated everyone like one of her family, with love, kindness, and respect.  She encouraged everyone to listen first, ignore what was mean spirited, and treat everyone with the selflessness and compassion which she exuded every day.  Her smile will always be infectious and never forgotten. 

Visitation will be at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4629 Aspen Hill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853 on Saturday, April 14 from 10 to 11 AM.  Following will be her funeral service at 11 AM and interment at Parklawn Memorial Park and Menorah Gardens following the service.  Please RSVP by April 12 using the form here, https://goo.gl/forms/uPGrC02N4Ny7qAK13, for the gathering afterwards.
