Karen Flickinger Simmons

Karen Flickinger Simmons of Wheaton, Maryland, on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Beloved wife of Martin Clare Simmons; mother of Kaitlin, Keegan and Molly.  Karen is survived by her father, Samuel Flickinger and her siblings, Nancy Flickinger, Paul (Jannie) Flickinger, Mark (Sue) Flickinger, Ellen (Rob) Payne and Linda (Dan) Hoilman; and by her nieces and nephews, Michael and Kelsey Flickinger; Krista & Nick DiBartolomeo and John Flickinger; Samantha, Kaylee, Dillyn and Bobby Payne; and Daniel and Ryan Hoilman.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanne Stanley Flickinger. 

Visitation will be 10am on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9705 Summit Avenue, Kensington, Maryland 20895, where Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am.  Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland.
