Janice Mary Hodor

Janice Mary Hodor, of Olney, MD originally of Monroeville, PA passed away peacefully in the company of her loved ones on Friday, July 26, 2019.  Beloved wife of John E. Hodor.  Loving mother of John M. Hodor (Teresa), Mark P. Hodor (Stephanie) and Kimberly H. Maxwell (Robert). Devoted Nanny of Kelsey Hodor Rybak (Colin), Caiti, Kayla and Davis Hodor, Ryan, Kathryn and Brayden Maxwell and the late Nicholas Hodor.  Great Nanny of Jace Rybak. Loyal sister of Marsha Whiteman and the late Beverly White.  In addition, Janice leaves behind extended family, including many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and life-long friends whom she loved dearly.

Janice had a wonderful sense of humor and was very dedicated to her family always putting their needs first.  She cherished the family gatherings and events more than anything.  She and her husband were able to travel to several overseas destinations. She found much delight in taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, with family remembrances at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 am followed by Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic School, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853.
