On December 20, 2018 James K. Cooper was called home by the Heavenly Father. He was a devoted husband of 62 years to his wife, Audrey. He was a dedicated father to daughters Kathleen and Eileen; and grandfather to Brendan, Liam and Gwendolyn Cannon. Jim was the eldest of six children. He leaves behind brothers Raymond, Thomas and Francis. He meets his sister Maureen and brother Byron at Heaven's gate.
Jim spent his life in the service of others. He was an FBI agent as well as the Managing Director of the Federal Maritime Commission. Upon retiring he volunteered at the local police department. Jim was an avid reader, loved baseball - especially his New York Yankees! - and had a great sense of humor. Jim always made God and family his priority. He was a lector at Our Lady of Grace Parish for many years. He was a man of honor and integrity. He made this world a safer, kinder place. He will be missed by many.
