Gerald Patrick Connolly

Gerald (Gerry) Connolly, born March 13, 1948 in Washington D.C., passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 70 years of age.  Gerry served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969-1972. Gerry had a love for books; not just books, but collections and first editions. He would drive all over the different states looking for that certain book. We always knew when he found it because he'd come home with that smile on his face like he had just hit the lotto.

Gerry is preceded in death by his parents John and Theresa Connolly and his brother Dale Connolly. He is survived by his brother Jack Connolly and sister-in-law Millie Connolly; niece Catherine Theresa Kump; uncle John Turlik and many cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 9190 Church Street, Union Bridge, Maryland 21791.  Lunch will be served afterwards in hall across from the church.
