Faithe “Dene” Halsey

Faithe "Dene" Halsey,of Charles Town, WV, passed away from congested heart failure on December 19, 2018.  Born June 12, 1950, formally a longtime resident of Silver Spring, MD and waitress of the Corner Pub. Proceeded in death by her husband Daniel Halsey, son William Whetzel, brother Bueford and sister Brenda Sprouse.  Survived by her son Ronald Whetzel, Jr. and wife Ruth, grandson Ronald Whetzel, III; also by her brother Lyle and wife Florence, sister Debra, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Donnie Sprouse, many nieces and nephews, and her best friend Diana and husband Tim Collins. Service will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at Sligo Baptist Church, 1610 Dennis Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20902 at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Chris Corrigan presiding.
