Eleni Axaopoulos

Eleni Axaopoulos, beloved mother & dear friend to all, died peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018 at her home in Rockville, MD. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer & bravely fought for 3 years. Eleni is survived by her children Jack Axaopoulos, Marina Axaopoulos, Penny  Axaopoulos & son-in-law Chris Long, Katie Axaopoulos Paez & son-in-law John Paez and Petros Axaopoulos; Grandmother of Anastasia & Christian Long, Mateo, Sophia & Gisella Paez; Sister of Kakia Bofiliou and Theodoris Semitekolos.

Funeral Services will be held at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, 7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817 on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:30 am. Interment following services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
