On April 29, 2017 Eileen Janet Strick (nee Snyder) after a long illness passed away peacefully in her sleep.  Born August 19, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA to Jennie Marcella Snyder (nee Pastorius) and Howard Jacob Snyder.  She is predeceased by her husband of 39 years, George Raymond Strick.  She is survived by her children, Linda (Daniel) Panchura, Vincent (Mary) Fertig, Janet (Jack) Koletty, Richard (Lori) Fertig, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loyal friend.  She will be dearly missed. 

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Basil Catholic Church, 1735 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA with internment immediately following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
