Her sense of dedication to teaching and to adventure took her to convocations in the Philippines, China, South Africa, and all over the United States. Additionally she toured Europe. and she also drove her little Plymouth Plaza across country, with her mother, from Brooklyn to Vallejo so she and her mother could visit her brother George and family. She cared for her mother into her mother's old age in their Long Island apartment while working full time. Anne's final nine years were spent at Marian Assisted Living, a residence with 37 people, where she was only seven miles from George and could benefit from family visits. She enjoyed the meals, the friendly atmosphere, and the beautiful surrounding country.
