Allen Keith (A.K) Bahn (Born as Ashwani Kumar Bhan) youngest son of the noted Kashmiri Pandit Rhada Krishna Bhan Ph.D. passed from this earth suddenly and alone on Nov. 1, 2017 at the Revitz House ElderSafe Shelter in Rockville. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Bahn was preceded in death by his first wife, Sansherma (Sandy) Kuldinow  by which he is survived by his children Sara Kaul, Ben and Patrick, and granddaughter Alexandra Bahn-Humphrey.

Mr. Bahn is also survived by second wife Catherine Sheap, of Michigan, and their sons Nathan and Christopher, and grandchildren Ravi, Rishi and Remy.

Mr. Bahn was also preceeded in death (October 20, 2017) by his third wife Shirley Maznicki leaving step-sons Mark and Martin Hakim Din.

Other survivors from his family include his brother Michael and wife Mary and their family, sister Jijae Vashnavi and her family, sister in law Leela widow of Omkar Bhan and her family, and many family and acquaintances both here and abroad.

Mr. Bahn was the founder and  CEO of Universal Design Systems, an IT Consulting/Data Processing firm in the U.S. and in India. He was an engineering graduate of both IIT Karaghpur and Rutgers University. His life was a poor use of his prodigious talents.

A graveside funeral will be conducted Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring MD. Attendees should assemble at the office.
