Adele Ann Shinsky, formerly of Chevy Chase, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, February 16th at nearly the same hour/day as her loving daughter and caregiver, Nancy Ratherdale passed a year earlier. Adele passed at the home of her son, Michael E. Shinsky in South Riding, VA.
Adele is also survived by her loving granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Nuhfer, her husband Jason and great granddaughters, Rilynn and Natalie of Aldie, VA. As well as her loving grandson, Michael D. Shinsky of Sanford, Florida and his partner Christy Garton. Adele's  career with the Department of Agriculture, as a supervisor of the crop reporting board lasted over 30 years. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Veronica's Catholic Church 3460 Centreville Road Chantilly, VA, 20151 on Friday, March 10th at 10am. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Veronica's Catholic Church(building fund).
