John Kosta Alexiou of Silver Spring, MD, departed this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Beloved husband of Nina N. Alexiou; father of Christina  Alexiou Hidalgo (Juan); grandfather of J. Nicholas Hidalgo; brother of Thomae Asteriathou; brother in law of Suzana Poulimenou (Christos), George Ladas (Sophia), and Kosta Ladas (Semira).

Visitation on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at the temporary location, 15100 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20905 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM where funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
