Charles N. Shea “Charlie” on February 17, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Reynolds Shea; father of Dianne Enders, Mary Ellen Puckett (Chris) and Linda Laurienzo (Jay) and the late Timothy Shea; brother of Sister Marie Julie, CSC, grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 1. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Eunice (Steel) Shea; his brother Thomas Shea, sisters Rita (Healy) and Frances (Gregory) and his grandson Justin Enders.

Born August 17, 1929 in Washington D.C., he was a retired U.S. Government employee, a Korean war Navy veteran and member of the American Legion.  He was a member of Shrine of St. Jude and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Charlie was an avid Redskins fan and loved watching football, golfing and crossword puzzles.Charlie will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15663 Norbeck Boulevard, Silver Spring MD 20906 on Tuesday, February 21 from 7 until 9 PM and on Wednesday, February 22 from 10:30 until 11:30 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at the above address.
